Uploading images on this websites is a pain...I don't like the look of centered sketches and then writing underneath but I am tired of trying to arrange everything in this little window...perhaps I am just a rookie and haven't figured out all the tricks yet...but alas...I have posted again...maybe there is a better website I can blog on...deviant art could work...but I feel too exposed there...what is the problem with exposure?...isn't that what I'm reaching for?...ok...I think I will post to deviant art...bye

Shut-up and draw is my new mantra...I've been stressin out lately because I want a plan...between classes today I sat down on the grass in the shade of a tree...I was about to write in my journal about how I want a plan...I was gonna try and come up with a plan...then I found a sketch I did on the back of a handout...and I told my self to just "shut-up and draw"...so that is what I did...the top sketch is the one I did on the grass...I had fun...I spent about 45 minutes on it...I was really pleased with the horizon line I put in...it gives the drawing more depth...the next two drawings were done in logic class...I have confidence that I get it so I used the time to sharpen my skill...I think I will bring another pencil to school from now on so that I can blend a little better...all of these sketches were done with a mechanical pencil...and I think I am wearing down my eraser too fast...I am excited about what I will draw next...it is getting too late to continue to draw tonight...unless I don't go to work tomorrow...hmmm...I will though...I don't know why...today I thought about minimizing destractions again...I didn't listen to any music in my car...and I only listened to a few songs at work...one song was "We Got the Jazz" by A Tribe Called Quest...that song takes me back to the Adobe Dayz...another song which has been in my head all day is Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy" that song is hot...I never listen to any other Beyonce songs but this one is awsome...so my plan is to Shut-Up and Draw!...and updating this blog with daily sketches and finished drawings will be my plan until a better one comes along...tomorrow there will be more drawings...peace

begining?

today i decided to start a new blog...one without desire...or ego...why a blog? to hopfully keep me focused...on creating...i love creating...but i neglect it...maybe this blog will help me remember that i love to create and i will create...then post my creations
